Abbey Motorsport have been involved in ALL tuning, engine building, car modifications & design for both Project GTST & Project Zed. Based in Oxted,Surrey, Abbey are one of the longest established japanese car specialists / tuning houses in the UK & Europe. After joining forces in 2007, Brams Racing was born and since then the team have gone on to break various European & Worldwide records. Abbey Motorsport continue to push the boundries for japanese cars & the relationship continues to go from strength to strength.

PROJECT ZED IS A TRUE STATE OF THE ART FULLY PURPOSE BUILT DRAG CAR - THE MOTTO FOR BOTH THE TEAM & THE CAR IS "NO COMPROMISE". THE CAR HAS BEEN DESIGNED & BUILT TO THE VERY HIGHEST STANDARDS AND EVERYTHING LOOKED AT TO A "NUT & BOLT" LEVEL IN THE SEARCH FOR ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE.

PROJECT ZED IS HEAVILY BASED ON THE NISSAN 350/370Z & RUNS THE NISSAN 3.5 LITRE VQ ENGINE DERIVED FROM THE NISSAN 350Z. IT IS A TRUE TESTAMENT TO JUST HOW GREAT THE NISSAN 350Z ENGINE IS FROM A DESIGN PERSPECTIVE THAT WE EVENTUALLY INTEND TO RUN CLOSE OR OVER 2000 BHP!!

ENGINE DESIGN / TECHNICAL PARTNERS

Performance Motorsport are technical partners to Brams racing & Abbey Motorsport. Based in Long Island, New York. The incredible workshop facility features the very latest engine building/engine dyno facilities. Performance motorsport work in partnership with Abbey Motorsport in relation to engine design, build & all mapping work on the dyno facility.
